Covert Tungsten Chod Beads are fast-sinking, weighted stop beads designed for use on helicopter and chod rigs, setting the position of the hooklink on the main line or leader. Supplied on wire sprigs for easy threading, they offer just the right amount of grip to hold position without needing a section of silicone as a stop — simply slide to the position that suits the nature of your lake bed or any weed present.
The tapered bore profile allows the bead to pass cleanly over leader knots, ensuring the hooklink can pull free in the event of a cut-off. The High Bore version can also be threaded onto the chod hook section and pushed down over the swivel or Kwik Lok as a replacement for tungsten putty — particularly useful on waters with crayfish. Available in Low Bore (for monofilament) and High Bore (for skinned hooklinks, leadcore and leadfree leaders).
