For me the fishing started around 30 years ago, with a stick, a hook and some line. Fishing for rudd and roach at the local canal with the family. After a few years, on a trip to a local lake and seeing someone catch a massive carp, I was hooked.

Over the years, I’ve been on trips to lakes all over the land, from lake exclusives with mates to finding quiet little lakes with not a person around… so here I am now.

I own a small gardening bussiness which I at work full time. So it’s work, with over nighters and then back to work, throughout the warmer months. But it does mean I get a good bit of time in the winter, when the banks are quieter. I just love catching any carp that’s not already in my album which keeps that fishing buzz alive for me.
