Covert Tungsten Kickers

Covert Tungsten Kickers are designed on the basis of proven rig mechanics — they radically improve the speed at which a rig reacts and force the hook to turn aggressively, driving the point downwards for rock-solid hook holds in the bottom lip. The key advantage of this design is that it improves hooking potential without closing up the gape of the hook, so you get an aggressive hooking mechanism combined with the full benefit of a super-sharp point.

The extended length moves the pivot point further from the hook point, meaning the hook takes hold slightly deeper in the fish’s mouth — further reducing the incidence of hook pulls. The Covert Tungsten Kickers combine a long straight extension with a curved section terminating at a 90° exit angle. A very slow taper means they can be trimmed down to suit almost any hook pattern and size. Available in Long (for hooks size 4–6) and XL (for hooks size 2–6).
