The Chod Rig is one of the most adaptable and enduringly effective presentations in carp fishing, capable of presenting a pop-up hookbait cleanly over virtually any lake bed — silt, weed, gravel or debris — without the rig masking or the hookbait becoming buried. Gardner’s ready-tied version uses a Covert Dark Chod hook, 15lb Tripwire stiff hooklink material and a size 12 Covert Flexi Ring Swivel, all assembled to an expert standard and supplied in packs of three. Looped for quick attachment to any lead arrangement. Available in barbed and barbless in sizes 4, 5, 6 and 8.
