Point Doctor

The Point Doctor is a compact, easy-to-use hook sharpening tool built around an abrasive rubber compound that removes material gently and progressively with each stroke. The rubber compound is the key to the design — it prevents excessive pressure being applied to the point, reducing the risk of over-sharpening or altering the hook’s profile unintentionally. Each stroke removes a fine layer of the hook’s plated or coated finish, exposing and refining the metal beneath to restore a sharp, functional edge.
