Stiff Ultra Skin

Stiff Ultra Skin is a specialist version of Ultra Skin for anglers who want precise, exacting control over the way a finished rig lies on the lake bed. The additional stiffness kicks out standard bottom baits and, when steamed, the material sets rigidly straight — significantly reducing tangles and ensuring consistent presentation on clean substrates such as silt, clay, sand and gravel. The rigidity enhances rig reaction speed by fixing the pivot point firmly at the nearest supple point to the hook — the start of the stripped portion or a broken skin hinge — without compromising knot strength. Stiff Ultra Skin strips cleanly, holds a figure-of-8 loop knot without rupturing, and its matt finish helps it blend into the aquatic environment. Available in 25lb on 20m spools in Green, Brown and Silt (black).
