The Gardner Covert Fused Loop Leaders are semi-transparent, fast-sinking leaders designed to blend into the aquatic environment — reducing the visibility of your terminal setup and providing robust abrasion resistance against gravel bars, snags and other submerged obstructions.
Each leader is built around a heavy 30lb fluorocarbon core that ensures the leader sinks quickly and lays flush to the lake bed. Unlike softer leaders that can bow up off the bottom, the fluorocarbon construction keeps everything pinned down for cleaner presentation. The fused loop at the business end makes rigging fast and precise, and each leader comes pre-fitted with a size 8 Kwik Lok Swivel — ready to accept a lead clip, inline lead or helicopter arrangement straight out of the packet.
