The Covert XT Flexi-Ring Kwik Lok Swivel is the dedicated component for Ronnie Rigs and other rigs that require the swivel to be fixed directly to the hook through the eye. Gardner uprated the wire gauge and adjusted both the inner diameter and gape of the crook specifically for this application — making mounting and removing the swivel from the hook eye simple and repeatable without distorting or weakening the crook.
The Flexi-Ring provides additional free movement for the hook, which is central to the Ronnie Rig’s aggressive hooking mechanics. These swivels are also well suited to quick-change helicopter rigs.
