Big Carp fishing is all about confidence and I most certainly have that in these hooks. The Mugga is incredibly versatile and works perfectly with a wide range of presentations, including Ronnie’s, German Rigs, Blow-Back Rigs, Slip-D Rigs, and they make an excellent Zig hook too.
Whenever possible, I’ll fish a size 4, tied Slip-D style with a supple braided hook link and a balanced bottom bait. I’ve found this approach really comes into its own on pressured big fish venues.
