Sophie started fishing at the age of 4 fishing for small carp at a local estate lake with her dad. It was her dad that got her into fishing. She started fishing the river as she got older for carp, barbel and chub and absolutely loves being outside in the fresh air. Now aged 12 and there isn’t much Sophie hasn’t caught. She likes fishing for catfish as well and also is a very good pike and barbel angler. But her real love for fishing is for carp, she loves carp and has caught them up to 38lb – her favourites are mirror carp, lovely old dark ones!

Sophie goes fishing nearly every week in all conditions and has done since she was 4 years old. All her fishing is done with her dad, they fish together like a team and fish all over the UK, fishing for different species as the seasons change. Sophie has become a very good little angler and is very proud and confident in her abilities, there’s not a lot she doesn’t know at such a young age.

Sophie enjoys maths and PE at school and is doing very well. She’s also very sporty. She has been boxing since she was 4 and has also done kickboxing and muay thai. Sophie now only train’s in pure boxing as she is looking to have a fight in the future. She trains twice a week and also goes running to get fitter for boxing. She also goes basketball training once a week at a local club and trains basketball at school. She is a very active and busy little girl.
