I’m 24 years old & carp fishing is more then just a hobby at the weekend to me. I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember – starting off going with my dad from a really young age, fishing for roach and perch with the float rod while he carp fished. I started targeting carp from around 12 years old, where me and a few friends would fish local day tickets around Essex. Once I started driving I was often bouncing from my club water in Essex to fishing day tickets around the colne valley, doing this for quite a few years. After spending a fair bit of time around the other side of the M25, I decided to join RK Leisure and start fishing the Horton Complex which I’m currently fishing and plan to stay at for a couple more seasons.
