My passion for angling grew through the period from my childhood days up until my teenage years, when I soon fell in love with the eternally great Leney carp that swam around in my local home water- Tilgate Park. Not only where we were spoilt with beautiful leviathans, but we also met inspirational anglers and lifelong friendships were deeply formed.
I longed to fish for the Colne Valley carp, a history that has endured and a path only I could seek; and so a few learning curves and a few adventures later I eventually ventured out around the tight twisty overgrown hedgerows of Wraysbury, where I soon succumbed to a challenge of man verses nature in a wonderful lone wilderness, hunting big carp.
