Target Specimen Hooks

The Target Specimen Hook is a robust all-round pattern designed for use across a wide range of species and angling methods — from hard-fighting river species such as chub and barbel, through tench and bream, to carp. The combination of a beaked point and 5° in-turned eye ensures the hook turns quickly and takes a secure hold across a variety of presentations and hooklink materials, while the Covert finish reduces glare and provides camouflage in the water. Manufactured in Japan from strong forged, double-tempered high carbon steel wire. The larger sizes, particularly 10 and 12, have proven particularly effective as zig fishing hooks.
