I have been carp fishing for over 30 years and have targeted easy waters as well as inland seas with a low stock of carp, I am quite happy fishing either type of venue and am always on the look out for the next big edge. Even though my local waters are not what you would call big fish waters, I do try to make the most of what is available to me and have on many occasions been top rod on the waters I fish.
The style of fishing that I do involves an accurate baiting strategy and I am not afraid to put it in if the situation calls for it, this type of baiting has been very successful for me.
My current water holds some proper British carp and may even see its first “50lber” this season, so as you can tell I am keeping everything crossed and hope I see one of these beauties grace my mat at some point this year.
